Rotary Printing Technology

Rotary Printing Technology

Our factory uses rotary screen printing. The principle is to apply dye through a rotating roller, the job being done by a perforated cylinder, with the dye fed under pressure by dedicated pumps.

This kind of printing has a number of advantages:

– it reproduces designs of any complexity and weight on the material;

– it prints on a variety of materials;

– it applies the design at high speed;

– printing on fabric does not consume excessive dye;

– the result is fast, bright, sharp and saturated colour.

Our technology park supports two main kinds of printing: pigment printing and reactive printing.

In pigment printing the dye does not penetrate deep into the fibres but stays on the surface. This suits dense matt colours very well.

The reactive method works by the dye penetrating the fibres of the yarn, changing its composition according to the material. The colours come out bright and saturated, and the fabric stays soft and strong.

Besides the two main kinds of printing we also use discharge printing, glitter and puff printing with a raised effect.
